3. Physical and chemical properties:
Polymethyltriethoxysilane is a oligomer of methyltriethoxysilane with an average polymerization degree of 2~3. It has a special fragrance and is a flammable liquid. When there is acid or alkali, it is easily hydrolyzed and condensed in water. The hydrolysis and condensation products are high molecular compounds, and finally cross-linked to form a film. Polymethyltriethoxysilane has hydrophobicity and high heat resistance.

Used as waterproofing agent, isolating and anti-adhesive agent, mold release agent, defoaming agent, waterproof and anti-corrosion coating, methyl block room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.
